The Mazda Rx7 FC

There were two different models of the Rx7, the FC and the FD. The difference between the two is that the FC was boxier and smaller then the FD and made a naturally-aspirated 148 horsepower and a turbocharged 182 horsepower. The FC came with a Wankal or "rotary" engine called the 13B.

Rx7 FC Customizability

The Rx7 FC was very popular amongst a group of people called "tuners". These JDM tuners are people that take boring, Japanese and typically old cars and make them into a whole new car. The Rx7 truly is a flexible car.

The FC had massive aftermarket support and was highly customizable due to its amazing look. This car was huge amongst teenagers and many would modify the car hugely in both looks and performance.

Rx7 FC "Twerkstallion"

A prime example of the FC's high customizable is the famous well known Hertrech Eugene, Jr. 's 1988 Mazda RX-7 Turbo II amongst the tuner community. Eugene calls his FC the twerkstallion. It is a poweful machine with a 700 horsepower engine from a Corvette and an absolute monster of a drift car.
